: (1) If someone commits an offense under section 7 and causes damage, the offender shall pay the corresponding amount and an equivalent amount of compensation. The power line will not be connected until the amount and compensation are paid.
(2) According to sub-section (1), if a person who has paid damages and compensation once commits the same offense again, the offender shall pay to the distributor the amount of actual damages and 200 percent of that amount as compensation.
(3) According to sub-sections (1) and (2), the method and procedure for assessing the actual loss to the distributor shall be as prescribed.
